Shailene Woodley is a famous American actress and activist. She became popular with her role Alexandra "Alex" King, a teenager who is suffering from addiction to drugs, on The Descendants. In addition to the praised performance during The Descendants, Shailene has performed several roles which showed the ability she has to portray challenging characters effortlessly. Shailene went on to secure an important position within the film industry at a young age in her career which is itself an accomplishment.
