Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd gained confidence after the win and fought 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all in the 1st round. Ladd returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the second. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she's ever had in any significant way. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, as well as her Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya during the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight.
